I didn't get a chance to say goodbye little boy. Your time on this earth was too short.   Mr. Sphynx was a frisky, 9 year old, demanding and compassionate cat with a heart of gold.  He charmed everyone he met and he wanted to meet people and wasn't afraid to get right in your face. He would have enjoyed the next few days asthe temperature climbed and the sun shined in the window.  For him, Cairo was as near as the garage.  Mr.  Sphynx liked the warm rays on his skin, despite the bright red rash that would occur later.  He didn't mind, too much, having his sticky skin washed every week.  While most cats drank from a water bowl, I know he needed to drink
from the bathroom sink, which had to be kept full.

Goodbye little man, you've gone to a special place, where you'll never hurt, never be hungry or thirsty. You'll be strong like you were as a kitten.  You'll meet Puma, Noah, Binkley, Cheuy among many others who have gone to wait at the Rainbow Bridge before you.

You made my days brighter knowing that you were waiting at home.

Ping, Ninja, Misha, Bean Weasel,  Van and Voo have lost a cherished and willing playmate.

I know that your final hours were filled with joy, you did that thing on her leg, you ate and you were happy.  You curled up in your bed, closed your eyes and left this earthly place peacefully and content.

You'll feel the sun on you while you play in the meadow.  One day, you'll stop and look in the distance, your eyes clear and bright. You'll see us and we'll cross the Rainbow Bridge and spend eternity together. Until then, while you're gone from here, you'll never be absent from my heart. Godspeed little man.
