Here's a view of Echo Lake showing the cabin and it's rustic surrounding. Rather the cabin itself does have running water and LPG fired hot water and a refrigerator. What's it's missing is a flush toilet that requires no maintenance.
The back of the house is now all tile and you can see how much the kids enjoy it.
So, you wonder does it snow at this altitude? Did you get any snow in the last storm? Can you get your 2WD vehicle out of the driveway when there is snow on the ground? But if I could would I be able to drive out to the main road? And here is the single snow storm from 2003.
Do all of our children get along?
It started out looking like this. After much hard work and this machine makes it so easy. Here is a pile of brush before the chipper has gotten a hold of it. And what's of it. Well, there's nothing left but chips, which get scattered to the wind. Or moved manually in a wheelbarrow.
Then there was the Livermore ranch. The backyard was bare, except for the concrete. But a spa was needed. The partially finished work looked like this. Inside the Mexican tile floor and stove were ready.
Then in the old days I wondered what the console room at the Stanford Linear Accelrator Center looked like. This was just one control room. Also proving their underfloor was not neat and tidy. Not to be out done here I am in the middle of the beam switch yard. Yes, it was radioactive.
Then there were the days of diving.
It seems that our cats enjoy their own company. They do this frequently when it's cooler or they know that were going on a trip. Occasionally, I have trouble when trying to use my computer. Sometimes upon checking I find that my firewall is offline.
More to come with tractors. Of course, I can't move the tractor on the road with out a trailer. So, while this isn't the exact one, it's the correct model. It's 18 feet long with a solid steel diamond plate floor. Weighs a hefty 2250 pounds with a total GVW of 5000 pounds. This one doesn't show the aluminum diamond plate tool box on the front of the trailer.
Then there was the great day of December 24, 1984, when the bike I was riding kissed the guardrail on Skyline Blvd, in San Mateo County. 5 days in intensive care later and one additional day in the hospital, I was home again. Not much real visible scooter damage, but expensive to repair. Haven't been on a machine since. OK, since was a long time ago. But I did start flying airplanes. Currently single/multi-engine, IFR qualified.
Sometimes 7 cats isn't enough. You need an even number. Now there is 8. No make Muppet number 9. No, make that 7 again. Most eat their food in a bowl.
